The Women's Business Network (WBN), founded in Peterborough in 1961, promotes and supports women in business through personal and professional growth opportunities.
The WBN meets on the first Wednesday of each month at the Holiday Inn Waterfront at 6 p.m.. Evenings include a social and networking hour, a three-course dinner, inspiring speakers and an opportunity to promote yourself and your business.
Membership fees are $350, which includes:
10 or more great evening events, including meals
Excellent speakers on a variety of interesting topics
Member contact listing in print and internet directories
Marketing, advertising, public relations and display booth opportunities
Monthly newsletter
Fun social events
Networking and friendship opportunities galore
Corporate members are welcome to send a different member of their organization each month.

Networking Evening: The Women’s Business Network hosts Christine Magee, President & Co-founder, Sleep Country Canada at the Women's Business Network (Peterborough). Leadership and foresight has led this woman to be recognized as one of Canada's 'Top 40 Under-40' in 1997, and to recieve numerous other accolades. Sleep Country Canada was inducted into the Marketing Hall of Legends in 2005 and the Retail Council of Canada Hall of Fame in 2005. Guests are welcome to attend an event for $35.

Environmentalist, writer, activist, lawyer, and the current leader of the Green Party of Canada this powerful speaker will address the issues of "Green Business Ideas, Economics, and the Environment".
