Did we miss your March Break event or activity?  If so, please fill out our online event form and we will add the info ASAP!

Ah, March, that most conflicted of months. The days are getting longer, but it's still nasty cold out. Spring is hovering enticingly just over the horizon, but not quite close enough to feel. Thoughts turn to gardens and flowers, but there is still an impenetrable layer of ice coating every exposed surface.

And then there is March Break. For those fortunate enough to take the week off with their kids, March Break can be a joy indeed. But for the working stiffs - and that's most of us these days, moms and dads alike - it's a bit of a bad joke. Whose bright idea was it, anyway, to give kids a week off school right in the middle of the working year?

Fortunately, public agencies and enterprising entrepreneurs alike have seen fit to take advantage of this lull in the school year to come up with all kinds of great activities for kids. From art classes to concerts to horseback riding camp, there is something for just about everyone in this year's selection of March Break activities. Not only will your kids have something fun to do, they might just learn something, too. .

NEW THIS WEEK - when this appears before a listing, it indicates that the listing was added within the last seven days
