Workshop: Transition Town Peterborough offers a course in Ecological Garden Design beginning at 7 p.m. at Sadleir House (751 George St. N., Peterborough). Instructor is Trent Rhode will teach about food production with an emphasis on perennial edible landscapes and exploring what it means to allow nature to do the work while increasing yields and decreasing inputs. Topics will include companion planting, basic landscape design processes, intro to soil food web and soil ecology, nutrient cycling and perennial edibles and medicinals.
