Workshop: The Art School of Peterborough presents Art Camp from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Art School of Peterborough (178A Charlotte St., Charlotte Mews, Peterborough). Theatre: The Peterborough Theatre Guild presents Gypsy Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim at Peterborough Theatre Guild (364 Rogers St., Peterborough). This musical is based on the 1957 memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee, the famous striptease artist, and her mother, Rose, whose name has become synonymous with "the ultimate show business mother." In particular, it follows the dreams and efforts of Rose to raise two daughters to perform onstage and casts an affectionate eye on the hardships of show business life. This little film festival that could is free to enter and the competition is open to anyone, of any age, from anywhere. Films submitted to the festival must no more than three minutes in length (but can be shorter) and must be delivered on either DVD or mini digital videotape format.
